SO ALL PEOPLE

OUR BELIEFS
GOD IS THE CREATOR
Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Romans 1:20 - For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Psalm 19:1 - The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
Isaiah 40:28 - The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.
Revelation 4:11 - Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.
Hebrews 11:3 - By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
God is the source of all life and the ultimate designer of everything that exists, from the vast galaxies to the intricate details of our DNA. Creation itself reflects His power and divine nature.
Recognizing God as the Creator shapes how we see ourselves and the world, affirming our purpose and value as beings made in His image (Genesis 1:27). This belief leads us to worship Him as the sovereign Lord who sustains all things and gives us hope for the future.
The bible is the Word of god
2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) - “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.”
2 Peter 1:20-21 ESV - knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 30:5 ESV - Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Romans 16:25-26 ESV - Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages 26 but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.
Jesus Christ is god
John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 – And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 20:28 – Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
I Timothy 3:16 – Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Isaiah 9:6 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Philippians 2:5-6 – Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped.
I Timothy 2:5 – For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.
Believers can be spirit-filled and spirit-led
Matthew 3:11 – I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Mark 16:17 – And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues.
Acts 1:5 – For John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
Acts 2:17 – And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
Acts 2:38-39 – And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”
I Corinthians 12:1-31 – Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed... (entire chapter details the various gifts of the Spirit).
I Corinthians 14:1-40 – Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy... (entire chapter covers the use and regulation of spiritual gifts).
I Peter 4:10 – As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.
Given at Pentecost, The Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth.
The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible's lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.
You must be born again
John 3:3 – Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
John 3:14-15 – And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
1 Peter 3:18 – For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again (John 3:3), emphasizing that the way to God begins and comes from God. Every person is born with a condition that separates us from God—sin (Romans 3:23). Isaiah 59 explains that sin creates a barrier between us and God, and only God can bridge that gap. Through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, the condition of sin was paid in full. Believing in His sacrifice grants eternal life (John 3:14-15), as only His perfect sacrifice can redeem us (1 Peter 3:18). When you trust in Jesus, you are “born” into God’s Kingdom, and the Spirit of God comes alive within you.
This act of grace is a gift from God, completely apart from human effort (Ephesians 2:8-9). Good deeds cannot save; only faith in Jesus’ sacrifice can. To be born again, you must come to God through repentance and faith. Confess your sins (1 John 1:9), believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and proclaim Him as your Lord. This is the only way to have a personal relationship with God and enter His Kingdom (John 14:6).
