Three Gifts For Christmas Spirit

Gifts, Part 02

 Trust

Matthew 2:7-10 – Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.” 9After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.

 Humility
Matthew 2:11 – On coming to the house, they saw the child with his

mother Mary, and they bowed down…

Revelation 19:12-13, 15-16 – 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God… 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations… 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

 Worship
Matthew 2:11 – and worshiped him…

1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Psalm 73:28 – But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.
