The Reality of the Resurrection

AD,Part02

John 20:26-29 – A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

 The reality of resurrection will strengthen your resolve.

John 11:16 – “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

Mark 9:24 – “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

Acts 4:2 – “They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people, proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead”.

Acts 4:33 – “With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all”

Romans 6:5 – “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his”

2 Corinthians 4:7, 10, 14, 16 – “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us … 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body … 14 Because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself … 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”

 The reality of the resurrection will strengthen your relationship with Jesus.

Matthew 28:10 – “Go and tell my brothers”

John 20:25 – “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe”.

 The reality of the resurrection will be found in your restored life. John 18:11 – “Jesus commanded Peter, ‘Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?’”
