Luke 10:27 – He answered, ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’…

Lamentations 3:20b-23 – …my soul is downcast within me. 21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Five Commitments to Fall More in Love With God

 Find your source of life in your relationship with Jesus. Lamentations 3:24 – I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I

will wait for him.”

 Schedule daily prayer.
Lamentations 3:25 – The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to

the one who seeks him;

 Resist discouragement.
Lamentations 3:26-27 – …it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the

LORD. 27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.

John 14:21-23 – Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” 22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Lamentations 3:28 – Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him.

Galatians 6:7-8 – Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Proverbs 25:2 – It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.

Do not return evil with evil.
Lamentations 3:30 – Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace.

 Reflect on God‘s love.
