Broken Mirrors, Part 05

James 1:23-25 – Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it–not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it–they will be blessed in what they do.

Matthew 6:24 – “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Mamōna (Aramaic); money, Mammon, wealth personified. Proverbs 22:7 – …the borrower is slave to the lender.
`ebed (eh’-bed); servant, slave, bondage.

Spiritual Eyes Money clouds our minds.

Matthew 6:23 – But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

A God-vision clears our minds.
Matthew 6:22 – “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are

healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
Pr 29:18a (KJV) – 18Where there is no vision, the people perish
