Sunday June 9, 2013 – When living in a southern culture of people who say they love Jesus, but don’t obey what God teaches, it is vital for Christians to reach out to those around them and passionately love them with a heart like Jesus.

My concern is that Christianity could become just a sub culture in our nation, if we don’t get that passionate love of Jesus Christ in our heart for other people. – Pastor Dwayne Terry

Missional Living is a missionary lifestyle. It is living a life that intentionally targets and disciples others with the Gospel.

Matthew 28:19-20 – Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Ten Commandments For Missional Living Stage 1: Evangelism

  1. Thou shalt love others the way they can feel it. _________
  2. Thou shalt not be a no-it-all. Instead, you should build trust._________
  3. Thou shalt not attempt to hide your faults. _________
  4. Thou shalt not be cliché. _________
  5. Thou shalt not be judgmental. _________
  6. Thou shalt not ask people if they know Jesus or if they love Jesus.Ask them if they have an ongoing-relationship with Jesus. _________

Stage 2: Discipleship

  1. Thou shalt not be someone’s Holy Spirit. _________
  2. Thou shalt base everything on Scripture. _________
  3. Thou shalt train the new convert in the disciplines of Christianity._________

Stage 3: Leadership

10. Thou shalt train those you disciple to make disciples. _________
