The Pattern of This World

  1. Individualistic.
  2. Infantile.
  3. Self-centered.
  4. Passive.
  5. Image-driven.
  6. Absence of piety.
  7. Hurried and busy.

God’s Solution

Romans 12: 2… but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Dokimazo (dok-im-AD-zo) – to test, examine, prove, scrutinize (to see whether a thing is genuine or not), as metals

  • Taste God’s will.
  • Be intellectually disciplined.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
