Proverbs 22:1 – A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Your Claim Must Match Your Character

 In your relationship with God.

Exodus 20:7 (NKJ) – “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

 In your relationship with others.

A Name-Changing God

 God gives you His Name.

John 20:31 – But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name

 With God’s Name comes God’s life.
