Accept God’s purposes for your marriage.
Malachi 2:14 – You ask, “Why?” It is because the Lord is acting as the witness between you & the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.
Reflect God’s image in this world.
Genesis 1:27 – God created man in His own image, in the image of
God He created him; male and female He created them
Ephesians 5:31 – “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
John 10:10 – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy… How does the enemy fight your marriage and family? _____________
Romans 8:28-29 – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
- Accept that your marriage is part of God’s bigger purpose.
- Trust God to perform the necessary changes in yourmarriage as you obey Him.
- Do not let positive things get in the way of the importance ofmarriage.
