Sunday Apr 19, 2015 – Acts 2:1 – When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.Acts 2:2-4- Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.Acts 2:5-6 – Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken.

Genesis 11:4 – Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered…”

Philippians 2:9 – Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

Acts 1:8 – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 2:41 – Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

Matthew 1:18 – This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: … she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

Luke 2:52 – And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

John 3:3-7 – Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” … 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

Luke 3:22 – and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove.

Luke 4:18-19 – “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
