Sunday September 2, 2012 – In the first installment of the “Necessary Roughness” series, Pastor Dwayne looks at God’s plan for our lives in Philippians 3. He discusses how God has a plan for each person as well as the vision and plan of Westgate Church.

What is our primary mission? To lead this multicultural group to become true Christ followers. We’re gonna keep doing that and see what God will do. – Pastor Dwayne Terry

Necessary Roughness, Part 01

Philippians 3:14 – I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Achieving God’s Plan for Life

 Think God’s plan.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

 Feel God’s plan.

Numbers 14:8-9 – If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”

 Work God’s plan.
James 2:17 – In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by

action, is dead.
