Sunday April 20, 2014 – We are born into this world with the need to be clothed and as we go through life, those clothes are our sins, weighing us down. As we follow Christ, those clothes need to be removed and as we finish our walk with Christ, we will be given the clothes we are destined to wear.

Do you understand that through the cross of Jesus Christ, He’s made it possible to transition even that door of death? What an incredible God that we serve. – Pastor Dwayne Terry

Easter Wear

Bridges, Part 04

 You come into the world with a need to be clothed.

Job 1:21 – and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.”

Ephesians 2:1 – As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

Romans 13:14 – “Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 4:25 – He was delivered over to death for our sins…

 As you continue your Christian walk, there are things you must remove.

John 11:43-44 – When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to

them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
John 10:10 – I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

 When you finish your walk, there are things you are destined to wear.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 Corinthians 15:54 – When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
